PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY:
These terms and conditions apply to make-up services provided by Makeup by Lyne Jana. Upon securing a booking
via payment of deposit for a make-up application with Makeup by Lyne Jana, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Creating a booking:
Booking a makeup appointment can be made at any time based on availability. Booking is fully secured upon payment of a deposit.
All wedding makeup bookings require a $150 NON-REFUNDABLE save the date deposit, which will secure your wedding date. No reduction in the number of services are allowed once the booking is secured and will require to be paid
by due date. Any additional services will be accommodated if possible once discussed with Lyne Jana, as this may result in a second makeup artist or assistant being required for your booking.
A bridal trial is considered the same as a standard appointment and is not factored into your bridal quote. Bridal trials can be booked at any point via Makeup by Lyne Jana's booking platform (personal link required to book).
Trials are not necessary if you feel you do not need or want one.They are however a great way to get to know one another, and discuss and create the perfect look for your wedding day.
All make-up appointments equire a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Standard makeup applications can be booked via Calendly (link available upon request) or via email, Instagram or Facebook messages.
Once a deposit has been received to the nominated account as outlined in your invoice, please notify of payment straight away via email as to not lose track of transactions.
The balance owing stated is to be finalised no later than 7 days prior to service date. Failure to finalise payment within these terms may result in a loss of deposit and service cancellation.
Payment types include direct deposit
into nominated account details, eftpos and cash. Cheques will not be accepted.

Cancellations for any reason, will result in a loss of deposit. Deposits are non-refundable and non-
transferrable. In the event that you require a postponement or cancellation, this may be discussed with Lyne Jana to see if a transfer of deposit is possible based on her availability for new date.
If your booking has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, please refer to the pandemic section below.
If an appointment cannot be attended due to medical emergencies sustained to you as the client, a medical
certificate or written evidence is required to refund any deposit amounts paid.
If the ARTIST needs to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen emergencies, natural disaster or road
blockages, notice will be provided as soon as possible and the client will have their full amounts paid,
refunded to their nominated details, within 10 working days of details being provided.
Every effort will be made to attend your appointment safely. If ARTIST needs to cancel, a replacement makeup artist/s will be recommended and it will be up to the client if they wish to book with recommended artists.
Refusal of service:
Makeup by Lyne Jana reserves the right to refuse or cancel service at any time should a client show dangerous or anti-social behaviour. Service may also be refused should a client display signs of illness, lice, contagious infections both internal and external, or any other factors that put Lyne Jana or her team at physical, mental or health risk.
Travel and Parking:
A travel fee is applicable when travelling and a quote can be provided upon your request.
In circumstances where parking fees apply, the client will be required to cover the charges when makeup services are being conducted, for example hotel parking and meter parking. If parking fees apply to your selected service location and prior notice has not been given before the service date, the client will be liable for any parking costs incurred to the artist while providing their services and an invoice will be emailed to the client's nominated email address.
Health and Safety:
Any allergies, sensitivities or special needs must be disclosed prior to the service date. While every effort
will be made to accommodate allergies, sensitivities or special needs, in no event shall Makeup by Lyne Jana ( Lyne Jana Grobler) have any liability for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example
eczema, sensitive skin and eyes etc.
IF CONSENTED TO:Makeup by Lyne Jana, reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of the make-up applications, and may use any such photographs for promotional and/or commercial purposes.
Whilst my policy states that all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable, I appreciate the uniqueness of this circumstance and will endeavour to explore alternative options where possible.
If your entire event is postponed due to a government mandated lockdown in QLD, your prepaid amount
can be transferred to the new scheduled date, subject to availibility. If the new date is availabile, your
appointment will be moved.
In the event the new date cannot be serviced, your pre-paid amount may be used for any other future
If you choose to reschedule your event, this will be the final movement for your booking and any other
changes to the date (unless effected by above lockdown stated) will result in a loss of deposit.
If your rescheduled date falls onto a date where there has been a price increase, an updated invoice will be
sent via email.
